Simon Farrow

Simon Farrow is an illustrator who graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design.  Simon works in the design and creative industry from his studio overlooking Leicester Market.

The two main influences in his personal practice are the mid-century graphic artists (including Eric Ravilious, Edward Bawden, Robert Stewart and John Piper) and the children’s book illustrator Quentin Blake.   Simon is enthralled by the way Blake captures people, the style of their clothing and facial expressions.  Drawing with great style, humour and wit — characteristics Simon tries to capture in his own work.

Simon lives in the West End with his partner, Jo, and young children Molly and Hannah.
